Even when coexisting in the same space, the individual’s need for privacy boundaries and psychological distance remains significant, even in a highly communal area like the living room.
The design inspiration for this sofa stems from a deep understanding of the dynamics of modern family interactions, resulting in an asymmetric electric adjustment strategy: the central single-seat area deliberately forgoes electric adjustment functions to create a psychological buffer zone, while both side sections retain full independent electric adjustment capabilities, enabling a freely extended personalized comfort experience. The widened armrests on both sides enhance usability and provide a natural resting place for daily items, further strengthening the sense of belonging and order in the space.
This design not only responds to the behavioral logic of space usage but also reflects respect and understanding for users’ emotional boundaries. All users of this sofa consistently give it the highest praise: “It genuinely respects my privacy rather than forcibly exposing my personal space to others.”
The deeper seat design allows users to freely switch postures, no longer confined to fixed positions. The backrest, seat cushion, and leg rest work together to form a smooth, natural curve that conforms to the human body’s contours, offering optimal biomechanical support and relaxation whether sitting or reclining.
