2024 Dongshan old Harbor Lantern Festival

Five display themes have been designed and planned to present the unique landscapes of Dongshan, Yilan.
Dancing Clouds in Dongshan: Taking the unique landscape of Dongshan as inspiration, the entrance features the outline of mountains enveloped in clouds. Soft and colorful illumination simulates the misty cloud effect, while customized chairs enhance the visibility of the entrance, offering viewers a perfect spot for photos and relaxation.
Mountain and River Screen: The design incorporates the rolling mountains and creeks as key features, with lighting extending along the wall. It mimics the wavy mountains, showcasing the unique landscape in Dongshan, including peaks, valleys, and rugged mountains. Moreover, the ingenious hollowed-out design provides a designated spot for photography and interactive experiences.
Splendid Tunnel: Different colors representing various natural powers coexist to symbolize wonderful wishes such as health, safety, beauty, happiness, and success. As people wander through the colorful tunnel, with mist gently sprinkling down, each step reveals a scene, as if receiving blessing from the earth, witnessed by nature.
Light and Shadow of Cloud and Rain Knoll: The design thoughtfully presents cloud umbrellas for people at Dongshan Old River Harbor. Utilizing artistic lighting techniques to simulate rain clouds, it creates the scene of strolling in the rain, a romantic moment for you and the one. Besides, lights of varying heights and strip lights enhance the layers of cloud effects, adding dimension and depth to the overall image.
The Lighting Gate of Kite: Looking from a distance along Provincial Highway 9, people can admire the graceful gate of the kite, guiding them into the festival area. Passing through the lighting gate, visitors enter the Dongshan Old Harbor Lantern Festival. The stage incorporates a 7-meter-high lighting tunnel as an entrance, where wind, lights, and art forms a welcoming corridor, highlighting the nature of Dongshan and the event. The vicinity surrounding the train station and trail zone is adorned with lighting designs. Following the guidance of S-shaped strip lighting and accompanied by rippled lighting and vivid sound effects of flowing water, the design mimics the effects of light and shadow on rippling water.
