Rather than copying the bright colours and complex patterns of older rugs, this design reduces colour saturation, softens pattern edges, and incorporates subtly aged textures. This allows classic motifs to appear subtly within the woven surface. The subdued colours and weathered look integrate the rug into contemporary interiors, softening sharp lines in modern spaces and adding a calm, inviting atmosphere to daily life.
Using gradient dyeing and an aged-texture technique, the Oushak motifs, traditionally representing good fortune and wholeness, are softened and integrated into the rug's surface.
