Located at the corner of a bustling alleyway, the site presents an irregular layout—resembling a fissure within the city. Inspired by the concept of a “cave,” the designer sought to carve out a tranquil refuge amid urban chaos—enveloping the space like geological strata to evoke a timeless, meditative atmosphere. Reflecting the brand’s ongoing exploration of “epochs” and temporal spirit, the salon reimagines a sensory experience grounded in slowness and introspection, as if journeying through time to rediscover something essential.
The highlight begins at the entrance: an irregularly angled façade rendered with textured coatings that mimic the raw surface of a rock wall, forming a cave-like portal that draws the curiosity of passersby. Inside, a large asymmetrical mirror stretches along the main wall, creating the illusion of a mirrored cavern—an abstract reference to the brand’s inner flow of time. The seating area follows a circular flow around a central feature, enabling intuitive movement from any direction and enhancing flexibility for both guests and staff. Toward the back, the shampoo area is deliberately dimmed, allowing the senses to retreat and the emotional tempo to shift.
