Paws & Palms: Loving Happiness

This project marks the second commission from a returning client—the homeowners—who enlisted the team to design their 358-sqaure-meter new abode. Over the years since the first commission, this household has seen children grow and the addition of a feline 'fur-baby’ 66. Along with creating a comfortable living space, the design also addresses the needs of the pet, prioritizes safety, ensuring easy maintenance while adding a playful touch.
Starting from the flat’s bare-shell stage, the design gradually evolved into a space that well integrates essential functions with emotional resonance, perfectly accommodating this family of four and their furry companion. The design revolves around balancing vertical and horizontal extensions, where the blend of solid and void creates a sense of elegance and harmony, narrowing the gap between nature and man-made elements while maximizing comfort.
