Qingshuixi Community Renewal Design

Qingshuixi Community is an “old”community, located in the central urban village of Nanan District, Chongqing, which not only protects the huge ecological vegetation and streams with historical stories, but also preserves the lifestyle of old Chongqing people.While not destroying the old story sense and retaining the original historical traces, it integrated the service needs and aesthetic needs in line with the contemporary new mountain people and consumer groups, and carried out innovative transformation on this basis.
In order to re-close the relationship between young citizens and the old Chongqing environment, the design has comprehensively created Chongqing's first youth-friendly demonstrative old community -- youth-friendly, child-friendly and animal-friendly "leisure community" to meet the diverse needs of the young people in the area to get close to nature, enjoy entertainment, and realize interaction and communication, and provide the experience of more humanistic and interesting scene.
The design re-depicts various original images of Qingshuixi with modern artistic techniques and transforms them into a set of thematic visual works and functional facilities to improve the overall atmosphere and environment of Qingshuixi Community, so as to shorten the distance between the young people and the old community and promote the good development of the small business of Qingshuixi Community. At the same time, some leisure seats are added in the public space to improve the utilization rate of the space, which provides a leisure platform for the people to stay and talk. A variety of perfect public facilities can facilitate the life of the local residents. At the same time, more and more tourists come here fascinated by one's name, which injects new vitality into the entire community, but also bring more business opportunities for indigenous people. For tourists, the transformation of Qingshuixi Community provides better services for their needs, such as the environment becoming better and the interaction of tourists becoming richer, so as to bring more foreign tourists for this kind of experience, so that the leisure community becomes a new landmark for leisure play.
