New Rice Porridge is an innovative instant porridge brand that leverages unique preservation technology to maintain nutritional value without preservatives. Our packaging upgrade emphasizes quality and targets young consumers, providing a streamlined design that facilitates future product development and reduces operational costs.

The core idea behind the design is to shift away from traditional instant product aesthetics. By prioritizing quality and modernity, we aim to appeal to a younger demographic that values health-conscious options without compromising on taste or convenience.

In contrast to competitors using illustrations, we focus on Chinese characters, maximizing product name visibility for enhanced recognition. The overlapping strokes of the typography are artistically hollowed out to symbolize rice grains, while the vibrant fluorescent red adds energy and emphasizes the product's key selling points—sugar-free and preservative-free.

To optimize user experience, we introduced two opening options: a small tear for a controlled pour and a larger tear for a quicker opening. This flexibility allows consumers to choose according to their needs, enhancing convenience and satisfaction.

Our approach sets us apart in a market saturated with conventional designs. By rejecting common design paths, we utilize a striking typographic strategy that captures attention on the shelf. The bold presentation aims to make our product more memorable and distinctive among competitors.

While focusing on visual impact, our design also considers sustainability. By reducing the need for complex graphics and illustrations, we minimize printing materials and processes, aligning with eco-friendly practices while enhancing brand recognition.
