LUXE CHIC

This project comprises three expansive show flats for a residential development by CTG in Chengdu, crafted for discerning homebuyers seeking an elevated lifestyle. Moving beyond conventional model home presentation, the project offers a new vision of contemporary living, where art and everyday life seamlessly intertwine.
Eschewing superficial ornamentation, the design embraces material authenticity and emotional resonance. The 233 sqm show flat unfolds through a continuous language of curves, where flowing arcs sweep across interior surfaces and furnishings, softening spatial boundaries. Through emotional anchors such as the fireplace and screens, together with panoramic views, the study is conceived as a sanctuary for reflection—responding to contemporary urban elites’ aspirations for a home that offers emotional refuge and a sense of belonging.
The 194 sqm model residence draws on Southeast Asian vintage aesthetics through a contemporary lens, balancing the rich textures of natural stone, patterned tiles, and intentionally distressed metal finishes. An artistic bar counter and hearth-like gathering setting redefine contemporary social rituals, infusing the space with a sense of narrative and a distinctive identity.
The 175 sqm show flat features a soft, retro-inflected sense of understated luxury, bringing a curatorial sensibility into everyday living. Curated artistic moments—such as a harp and a dedicated painting corner—are woven into the circulation loop, complemented by an integrated LDKB layout that enhances spatial fluidity. Through the gentle contrast of luxury stone and warm timber, the space unfolds with an elegant, unhurried rhythm, offering a refined vision of art-infused contemporary living.
The project innovatively brings villa-level living experiences into expansive single-story residences, supported by prefabricated construction techniques, locally sourced materials, and optimized natural daylighting, advancing a low-carbon, sustainable approach to residential design. Though distinct in aesthetic expression, the three model residences are anchored by a shared understanding of the essence of living—transforming space into a vessel for memories and emotional nourishment, and offering a new paradigm for high-end residential design that balances aesthetic refinement with human warmth.
