Urban Slice: A Scalable Living System

The project reflects broader transformations in contemporary urban living. With the rise of freelancers, remote work, and flexible careers, the home must accommodate work, social interaction, family gatherings, and personal restoration simultaneously.
The design introduces a scalable living system that redefines spatial efficiency within high-density urban housing. A 231.4 square meters residence can seamlessly transition between solitary living, small gatherings, and large multi-generational events without compromising daily quality.
The layout follows the philosophy of “bound yet unbroken,” using metal lines, cabinetry, and layered panels to simulate the complexity of urban streetscapes. As residents move through the space, semi-transparent boundaries create dynamic visual depth, resembling urban perspectives.
Craftsmanship plays a crucial role, particularly in the execution of cross-space curved forms and the precise calibration of metal elements, demonstrating a high level of technical refinement.
