This project is conceived as a home tailored to a growing family, where functionality, storage, and aesthetic quality are equally valued. The client places strong emphasis on spatial order, comfort, and a harmonious living atmosphere, while also requiring generous storage solutions and flexible layouts to accommodate future changes in family structure. The original plan was reconfigured to fully respond to these needs.
The living and dining area, organized as a large horizontal hall, becomes the visual and social core of the home. By reorienting the layout, the best views and daylight are reserved for the main living space, while integrated storage is subtly embedded into the overall design. Instead of a conventional TV wall, a projection system is adopted, allowing the space to remain open, fluid, and better aligned with the owners’ lifestyle. Neutral tones form the base palette, accented by deep green and champagne gold, creating a calm yet refined atmosphere. Floor-to-ceiling windows introduce abundant natural light, visually extending the space in both horizontal and vertical directions.
The open-plan kitchen and dining area maintains both functional clarity and visual continuity, encouraging interaction and warmth in everyday life. A careful balance of stone, leather, and metal details brings rhythm and texture through the contrast of warm and cool materials, while restrained color transitions express a composed yet rich spatial language.
The master bedroom is designed as a private retreat, defined by soft materials, gentle lighting, and minimal decoration, creating a quiet and elegant resting environment. Children’s rooms are planned to evolve with their growth. The daughter’s room uses a bright and playful palette with integrated study and storage by the window. The boy’s room, converted from the former study, adopts green tones and layered textures to create a natural and inspiring atmosphere. An additional children’s room with bunk beds maximizes activity space and storage, ensuring flexibility for future needs.
Through precise spatial reorganization and a thoughtful balance between aesthetics and practicality, the home becomes a warm, functional, and timeless living environment that grows together with the family.
