This project uses space as a medium to complete a systematic contemporary translation of the cultural heritage of Hunan. The design, with the core concept of "Eternal Blooming Season on the Banks of the Xiang River," creatively deconstructs and reconstructs the kiln-transformed glazes of Tongguan Kiln, the silk textures and play of light and shadow in Hunan embroidery, and the "mountain, water, and island city" aesthetic of Changsha, transforming them into an integrated design language that permeates the architecture, interiors, and soft furnishings.
The spatial narrative unfolds progressively through three layers: form, meaning, and rhythm. At the level of "form," modern techniques such as laser engraving and stone mosaic are used to translate classical patterns and natural textures. At the level of "meaning," dynamic silk thread art installations and lighting design transform intangible cultural heritage techniques into a perceptible, immersive experience. At the level of "rhythm," the pioneering "vertical mountain and water courtyard" and five-tiered flow reconstruct the natural narrative and humanistic rituals within the urban environment.
The project ultimately transcends mere visual presentation, constructing a composite "cultural container" that integrates cultural experience, high-end social interaction, and art collection, providing a complete, profound, and perceptible design paradigm for the contemporary revitalization and inheritance of regional cultural heritage.
