This 650-square-meter sky-high residence redefines the scale and expression of contemporary luxury. Perched atop a landmark in Chengdu and framed by a 270-degree panoramic skyline, the residence features an 18-meter ultra-wide bay window, a 9-meter depth, and a dual-living-room configuration totaling approximately 230 square meters, establishing an international standard for elevated urban living. The homeowner, a post-90s global aesthete with a discerning eye for refinement, views the home as an extension of personal identity rather than a conventional luxury template. The design therefore initiates an aesthetic reinvention grounded in Art Deco influences, old-money sensibilities, and the craftsmanship heritage of both East and West.
The left living room is transformed into a HOME STUDIO, creating a composite environment where work and life seamlessly coexist. Geometric patterns, clean lines, symmetrical layouts, and vibrant materials reinterpret the spirit of Art Deco. Natural light filters through a translucent marble ceiling, while a crane-patterned Tibetan wool textile, luxury stone surfaces, and refined metal details establish a graceful resonance between Chinese cultural references and modern classicism. More than a workspace, it becomes a personal sanctuary of focus, creativity, and restrained elegance.
The right living room embraces a cross-cultural tone of life, assembling nearly one hundred top-tier international furnishings and a palette of rare natural materials. Inspired by Europe’s 18th-century imagination of the East, the space integrates sun-and-moon motifs, silk chandeliers, and Italian luxury kitchen systems to accommodate dining, leisure, and social gatherings. Gold leaf, mother-of-pearl, burl wood, blue-and-white porcelain, lacquer art, and intricate inlay techniques establish a layered but controlled artistic order, balancing classical Chinese charm with contemporary refinement.
The private suites extend the home’s philosophy of ultimate materiality and hotel-level comfort. Parchment leather wall panels, burl veneer accents, luxury stones, bespoke fabrics, and thoughtfully integrated functions—dressing table, water bar, cloakroom, and window lounge—craft an immersive living experience. Here, craftsmanship, cultural depth, and modern aesthetics converge, enabling a lifestyle that transcends opulence and becomes a daily ritual of beauty and sophistication.
