The headquarters of Hengchang Technology Building sits in the core business district of Qianhai, Shenzhen, and is owned by Funde Group. The building includes a lobby, office areas, conference center, reception, and staff leisure zones. Guided by the idea of blending technology and nature, the designers created a high-end, people-oriented workspace. Modern minimalism, natural elements, and smart technology are combined, with clean lines and contrasting metal and wood finishes shaping a tranquil, efficient, and collaborative environment that balances technology and humanity.
Inspired by the ancient Chinese "ding," a symbol of power and prestige, the designer created a culturally unique landmark for Qianhai. The tripod cauldron concept brings together the dignified spirit of the "ding" with a modern office, shaping a vibrant, narrative-rich space. The theme of "standing tall in Qianhai" gives the project both cultural depth and spiritual significance, making it an iconic symbol of the area and showcasing China's unique charm.
Notably, to address challenges like complex zoning, limited comfort, and a high-end brand tone, the designers proposed the following solutions:
Efficient zoning: Modular design and flexible partitions optimize circulation and improve efficiency.
People-oriented: Green walls and smart ventilation enhance air and acoustic quality, creating a healthy, comfortable workspace.
Smart office: Integrated lighting, security, and conference systems enable seamless control, boosting efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing safety.
Green and sustainable: Eco-friendly PVC flooring, solvent-free paints, renewable finishes, and GRG/GRC materials are used. Energy-saving systems and maximized natural lighting lower consumption, while modular design allows flexible use and material reuse, extending the space's lifecycle.
With a holistic strategy, the project sets a benchmark for offices that balance technology and humanity, enhances the city's image, attracts top enterprises and talent, and drives regional economic and innovation growth.
