VINEYARD WEDDING & CHATEAU is a landmark wedding venue in Rui’an, Wenzhou, encompassing 30,000 square meters of architectural grandeur and emotional immersion. Designed as an all-in-one wedding destination, it reinterprets classical French aesthetics through a contemporary lens, merging romantic symbolism, structural elegance, and refined functionality.
The architecture adopts core elements of French classicism—axial symmetry, arched colonnades, and geometric precision—reimagined in modern proportions. The central entrance arch stands tall and ceremonial, flanked by rhythmic archways and vertically scaled windows that invite abundant natural light. Black-and-white tones paired with intricate wrought-iron details evoke a sense of nobility, while the use of large, continuous fenestration builds a visual connection between interior and exterior.
By night, architectural lighting gently outlines each curve and cornice, transforming the structure into a luminous sculpture. The facade's layered lighting enhances the venue’s solemnity and theatricality—ideal for nighttime weddings and receptions.
The layout encompasses multiple grand ballrooms, bridal lounges, ceremonial lawns, a waterfront promenade, and integrated service zones. The white garden rotunda on the front lawn serves as a focal point for open-air ceremonies, while the surrounding canal introduces a tranquil landscape layer that mirrors the building’s elegance. Each functional area—from pre-ceremony lounges to post-banquet exits—is choreographed to support the emotional rhythm of a wedding day.
The materials palette speaks to both durability and visual sophistication. Foam ceramics and GRC allow lightweight yet elaborate facade detailing; granite and stainless steel offer structural stability; carbon panels lend modernity. A real stone paint finish provides subtle texture and elegance, unifying the classical vocabulary with contemporary simplicity.
The project demanded intense interdisciplinary collaboration—covering architecture, structure, MEP, lighting, façade, signage, and smart systems. BIM-based coordination ensured that design integrity was maintained throughout planning and execution.
Sustainable thinking is embedded from the ground up. The landscape strategy embraces sponge city principles, with green roofing and efficient drainage systems. Materials were carefully selected with lifecycle and environmental impact in mind, achieving a balance between ecological responsibility and luxury design.
The architecture transcends conventional venue typologies. It is an architectural celebration of love—where French romanticism meets modern precision, creating an immersive stage for unforgettable ceremonies.
