This 60-square-meter private residence renovation blends Moroccan exoticism with modern minimalism, creating a deeply personal, atmospheric living space. The design is grounded in warm, neutral tones, accented with vivid orange highlights, textural contrasts, and handcrafted elements—all curated to reflect the homeowner’s appreciation for global aesthetics and meaningful detail. Through the use of artisanal finishes, Pandomo flooring, woven lighting, and vintage mosaic tiles, the home becomes a canvas that quietly holds souvenirs and memories from travels abroad, transforming it into both a retreat and a reflection of one’s journey through the world.

The entry foyer is anchored in a warm ivory palette, complemented by vibrant orange accents and shelf lighting within the display cabinet, creating a soft, welcoming atmosphere. At the heart of the living room, a domed ceiling becomes a striking focal point, paired with woven pendant lights and greenery to evoke the vibrant ambiance of a Moroccan souk.
In the kitchen and dining area, mosaic tiles bring texture and rhythm, breaking away from traditional kitchen imagery. A multifunctional L-shaped island with stone textures serves as a dining table, prep station, and desk, enhancing spatial efficiency and fostering daily interaction among family members—seamlessly blending function and form.
The study features wooden shelving and cabinetry, accented with a hand-painted orange wall finish that introduces a playful energy while offering the homeowner a sanctuary for quiet contemplation. In the primary bedroom, curved wall panels, low-saturation taupe tones, and woven textile elements create a peaceful, cocoon-like environment. The wardrobe is framed with black-trimmed glass doors, offering both practical storage and a sense of visual lightness and openness.

Sustainability is woven into every layer of this design. The project utilizes low-formaldehyde, biodegradable, and recyclable materials—including woven fibers, stone, solid wood panels, artisanal coatings, and durable, timeless furnishings. The lighting scheme employs low-energy systems, aligning with the overall commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable living.
