Located in the villa area of Sanshui, Foshan, this project is surrounded by golf courses, making its location extremely rare. The designer skillfully integrates geography, nature, culture, and value, striving for a dual height of professionalism and artistry, implementing a diversified renewal strategy. The original villa, renowned for its three-story European style, has shown signs of aging over time, but its distinctive features such as arched corridors, cultural stone exterior walls, and red sloping roofs still stand out.
In the process of reshaping, the designer not only preserved the building's curved silhouette but also strengthened its dialogue with the natural environment through modern design techniques, giving it a new life. The exterior of the building adopts a marble-textured faux stone paint to enhance its exquisite luxury feel; functionally, it has been transformed from a private residence into a business club to meet modern business social needs.
The design focuses on controlling light and temperature, adjusting the structure, adding outdoor corridors, semi-outdoor spaces, etc., to unlock the space's potential. Color becomes a highlight of the redesign, creating a harmonious and impactful visual effect through careful coordination. From the green accents in the foyer to the restrained colors in the casual reception area, the sophisticated use of color in the business lounge and the vibrant colors in the banquet hall, every detail showcases the designer's mastery of color.
In terms of spatial layout, the ground floor has been completely reorganized to optimize natural light, creating a business leisure area that integrates art salons, corridors, round halls, screening rooms, etc. Particularly striking is the black and white combination in the art corridor, exuding a strong artistic tension.
This project is not just a transformation of the building's exterior; it represents a deep exploration and ultimate display of natural resources, cultural value, and spiritual territory, achieving a magnificent transformation and comprehensive upgrade of the old mansion.
