The original layout, typical of many Chinese apartments, featured a small enclosed kitchen and a long hallway. Recognizing the owner’s desire for a more connected, open experience, kitchen walls were removed and transformed into an open layout. In the kitchen-dining area, the island, cook-top, and mini-bar are boldly framed in carrara marble, creating a striking backdrop for the owner’s accessory collection.
