In the contemporary context, pets are increasingly considered integral family members, resulting in a heightened demand for pet products. In response to this phenomenon, this dog food packaging aims to transcend traditional packaging norms by integrating both functional utility and artistic design. The objective is to create packaging that brings joy to both pet owners and their companions.
Drawing inspiration from Western baroque art, the design team incorporated hand-drawn prints depicting the primary ingredients of the dog food (such as chicken, rabbit, beef, etc.) to imbue the packaging with a classical, elegant, and distinctive visual style. This approach not only enhances the aesthetic appeal but also reinforces the packaging's recognizability and facilitates consumers' intuitive understanding of the dog food's composition, thereby streamlining the decision-making process. Additionally, the deliberate selection of vibrant and dynamic macaroon colours serves to counterbalance the classical undertones of printmaking art, successfully fusing a timeless allure with contemporary vibrancy. This unique blend caters to the preferences of youthful consumers who seek novelty and personalized expression.
