The client transitioned from a traditional townhouse to a single-floor apartment in a high-rise, prioritizing storage capacity and the functional layout of their new home. Retaining three bedrooms, we opted for lightweight, functional materials. For example, an arched partition at the entrance foyer serves multiple purposes: guiding movement, enhancing sightlines, and establishing a welcoming ambiance. The sofa's back wall extends seamlessly to the dining area, featuring a V-pattern wood veneer that doubles as a spacious storage cabinet with glass panels, balancing aesthetic sophistication with practicality and defining distinct public and private zones.
The design evokes a bright, warm ambiance with constant temperature control, achieved through quality materials that are healthy, non-toxic, and easy to maintain. The TV feature wall is adorned with glossy tiles, flanked by cabinets and a low shelf treated with dual-tone panels and perforated metal sheets, creating a vibrant yet tasteful setting. Custom-striped glass sliding doors highlight the kitchen, complemented by shallow cabinets and strategically placed lighting fixtures that enhance its focal appeal when opened.
In the master bedroom, the headboard integrates with the bathroom's flow, featuring elegant gray-purple tones accentuated by white trim for a natural French classical charm. A large wardrobe at the bed's end discreetly conceals vanity functions. Meanwhile, the children's rooms are tailored with desks, double beds, and wardrobes to optimize spatial efficiency down to the smallest detail.
